French Toast {For Beginners}

This is the easiest warm breakfast you'll ever make. It takes 10 minutes, if that. It's delicious & filling, but the best part is that you probably have everything you need already in your kitchen!

What you'll need:
4 pieces of bread
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Your favorite toppings

You'll also need a flat skillet, sprayed with Pam, heated on Medium heat. Whisk together the eggs, cinnamon, sugar & vanilla in a wide bowl (big enough to lay a piece of bread down).

Coat both sides of the bread, then place it on the pan. Repeat with the remaining 3 pieces of bread.

Cook on medium-medium high heat until both sides turn golden brown. Give the first side about 3 minutes to cook, then flip every minute or 2.
While these little guys are cooking, prepare your toppings. I like syrup & fruit, but I've seen powdered sugar, whipped cream, butter & custard.
